The South Bellevue Community Center, in Eastgate Park, features a 2,400-square-foot community room, with floor to ceiling windows, which is perfect for weddings, receptions, banquets, parties, meetings, workshops and other special events. Other rooms available for rental include a kitchen, classrooms and a double gymnasium.
Make any occasion special with a party at SBCC. A variety of options allow you to create your own special event for any age.
The community room can be reserved for weekdays and evenings, as well as weekends. The gymnasium is available on weekdays during non-peak times.

Guidelines, Fees, and General Information
Whether you are planning a small family gathering or a large event, South Bellevue Community Center can likely meet your needs. The first step in reserving the facility is to review the Facility Rental Guidelines, which provide our policies and procedures for rental and use of all Parks & Community Services facilities.
Rental Requirements
In order to reserve the facility for your rental, we require a number of documents to be completed. The Facility Use Request Form and the SBCC Supplemental Form (PDF version) must be submitted together in order for your application to be processed. If you are paying by credit card, please also submit a Credit Card Authorization Form.
Catering, Entertainment, and Linens
Bellevue Parks & Community Services requires prior authorization for all special use requests provided during facility rentals. The Indoor Facility Special Use Form must be received a minimum of 30 days prior to your rental in order to be processed.
Let us help you make your rental special. South Bellevue Community Center can provide high-quality linen table cloths and napkins in a variety of colors. Please submit the Linen Order Form at least three weeks prior to your rental to ensure sufficient time to process your order.
Alcohol Policy
To serve and/or sell alcohol during the reservation, the following permits are required. Copies of these permits must be submitted a minimum of 14 days prior to the reservation. For further information, please refer to the facility rental guidelines.
- Washington State Liquor & Cannabis Board (WSLCB) - Banquet Permit or Special Occasion License
- Alcohol Server’s Class 12 Mixologist Permit
Community Room
Our Community Room is spacious, and with the glass wall, seems even larger. South Bellevue Community Center can easily accommodate up to 150 for sit-down dinners. The Community Room has a wall divider for those needing space for 75 or fewer. Both sides must be rented together for Friday evening-Sunday rentals.
Bellevue Climbing Wall
The Bellevue Climbing Wall is 33 feet tall and sculpted to look and feel like Index granite. The wall offers three belay ropes with at least five climbing routes of varying degrees of difficulty per rope, and a bouldering or horizontal traverse wall. Advanced climbers can take advantage of the wall's natural-looking granite for the ultimate texture climb.
The Bellevue Climbing Wall can be rented for birthday parties, team-building and other celebration events. The minimum climbing age is 6 years old.
Gymnasium
South Bellevue Community Center gymnasium can be rented for a variety of fun activities including: pickleball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, dance groups, etc. We have two full gymnasiums that can be rented together or separately. An additional facility can be rented for serving food.
