Bellevue's Park Rangers respond to customer service issues in parks and open space areas on a year-round basis, including issues such as:
- Dogs
- Parking
- Abandoned vehicles
- Boats on Phantom Lake
- Graffiti
- Vandalism
Park Rangers are not law enforcement officers, but work cooperatively with the Bellevue Police Department, Regional Animal Services of King County, and the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife to resolve issues.
In the summer months, our staff expands to better assist customers during this period of increased park use. The summer Park Patrol program also covers seasonal evening patrols, as well as evening lock-up of gates and restrooms. Summer Park Rangers can be reached from Memorial Day through Labor Day at 425-864-1899.
