The city manager is seeking diverse, high-school aged candidates for openings on the Bellevue Youth Link Board. The City of Bellevue encourages anyone interested to apply online by 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 15.
The Youth Link Board is composed of up to 12 youth who study, work or live in Bellevue. Board members serve a two-year term and attend meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, 6-8 p.m., at City Hall.
For over three decades, Youth Link has provided innovative youth leadership and community service programming for middle and high school students. Youth Link’s mission is to engage youth in civic leadership opportunities and community service, while providing a platform for youth voice and input as advisors to the city manager.
The Youth Link Board supports the organization’s promotion of unity and equity for high school youth in Bellevue. Youth Link’s current priorities include mental health, transitional support, financial education and employment equity and environmental sustainability.
