City Hall and other city facilities are closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for Thanksgiving. Essential services such as police and fire are available.

Yard Debris Collection after Wind Storm

King County is pausing storm debris drop-off at all King County transfer stations from Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 1. Their facilities are closed on Thanksgiving. Bomb cyclone storm impacts

A bomb cyclone windstorm lashed Bellevue the night of Tuesday, Nov. 19, bringing down trees throughout the city and leaving hundreds of thousands without power. The City Council is united in urging residents to mask up. Face coverings are required statewide in all public spaces because they are effective in slowing the spread of COVID-19, and Bellevue's elected leaders endorse and model this simple measure that saves lives in a minute-long video.

"We are urging everyone to take coronavirus to task by wearing a mask," Deputy Mayor Deputy Jared Nieuwenhuis says as he dons a mask. All seven members of the council, including Nieuwenhuis and Mayor Lynne Robinson, recorded selfie videos for the public service announcement.
