The East Bellevue Community Council is seeking candidates for a vacancy on the EBCC. The successful candidate will complete a term that expires on Dec. 31, 2021. Applications are due by Friday, July 24.
The EBCC is an elected body that has approval/disapproval authority over certain land-use actions in a part of East Bellevue, including city ordinances and resolutions dealing with land use matters, such as comprehensive plans, zoning, subdivisions and conditional use permits. In addition to acting on land use matters, the EBCC may advise, consult and cooperate with the City Council on any local matters directly or indirectly affecting its service area.
Applicants must live in the area represented by the EBCC and must be available for evening meetings. The EBCC meets on the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m. at the Lake Hills Community Clubhouse, 15230 Lake Hills Blvd. Attendance at other evening meetings is sometimes required.
